About goDakota

This site was started in 1999 as a hobby. It still is. It has been used to test script and code for use in other production sites. It's been moved to different hosts over the years and re-written in different programing languages. We've implemented Wordpress, Jumbla, Drupal, and some other "one click installs" along the way.

We've visited a few locations around South Dakota and even the world. Some of the photos and videos are pretty good and some are not. It's all for fun. We used Disqus comments in the past as well as other platforms. We once had a self-hosted open source system written in PHP with a MySql backend. We're just having fun.

Check back from time to time. We are reentering some old posts and trying some new stuff.
