Original records indicated that in addition to working at Mount Rushmore, Charles Clifford worked for the WPA. Later conversations also place him at a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp. The Camp was F-13 Camp Mayo and records at the CCC Museum located in the Hill City, South Dakota Chamber of Commerce Information Center include this information as well. Died Jun 20, 1996 age 83 yrs old.
